Rajat Maheshwari Promoted to Investment Manager

We are pleased to announce the promotion of Rajat Maheshwari to Investment Manager in our Aberdeen office.

Rajat Maheshwari has nearly a decade of energy industry experience, and joined EV Private Equity in 2015. Since joining the company, he has played a key role in managing our growing portfolio of leading energy service companies across the globe.

His new role brings more responsibility and accountability in terms of strategic direction and stewardship. Central to this will be leveraging the network, insights, and expertise within the EV Private Equity team, operating partners and advisory board.

Rajat’s career highlights in 2019 included the following transactions:

• Investment in platform business Motive Offshore, a north-east of Scotland based specialist in manufacture, rental, and inspection of high-quality marine equipment to the oil & gas, marine, and offshore wind industries, and the add-on acquisition of Stavanger based Pumptech AS
• Investment in platform business Enhanced Drilling, a Norway based provider of technology-led equipment that enables safer, more efficient, and environment friendly drilling operations, and the follow-on merger with IKM Cleandrill.
